THE CARDKIND FIELD GUIDE

About Cardkind

Everyday people have collectible qualities. Cardkind gives them a place on a card.

Cardkind is a free, independent creative tool for turning portraits into original fantasy trading cards. It is built for personal keepsakes, friendly group games, birthday sets and the small talents that deserve a little celebration.

What the studio does

Choose a frame, upload your own photo, adjust its crop and write custom HP, powers and personality details. Download a JPEG or PNG, print a card, or save a small collection on this browser. Editing happens locally: the studio does not upload your portrait or maintain a public gallery.

Original designs, familiar delight

Our six original frames draw on broad collectible-card eras, from warm vintage prints to futuristic displays. Cardkind is not affiliated with Pokémon, Nintendo, Wizards of the Coast or Magic: The Gathering. It does not produce official cards for those games.

The sample adventurer portrait was created with AI for Cardkind. User-uploaded photos are not sent to an AI service or automatically redrawn. Photo treatments are local color filters.

How the site may be supported

We plan to support the free studio with advertising and may explore optional professional printing later. Advertising is not active at launch, and there is currently no paid printing service. Future changes will be reflected in our privacy information before they are activated.

Support

If a portrait will not load, try a JPEG, PNG or WebP smaller than 12 MB. If saving fails, download the card directly; browser storage can fill up or be disabled. For questions or feedback, email hello@cardkindstudio.com.
